Experience the wonderful art collection of the Borghese Gallery
You will meet us directly in front of the entrance to the Borghese Museum.
Your guide will then provide you with guided tour of the private Borghese Collection. this will include some of the finest sculptures and paintings in the world. Included are such work as the fine frescoes and mosaics depicting gladiators and wild beasts, The statue of Truth by Bernini, Canova's sculpture of Pauline Borghese (Napoleon's sister).
The tour continues with such wonderful works as the Cupid Riding an Eagle by Bernini, The David carved by Bernini at the young age of 25. Also the most beautiful and famous Apollo and Daphne. Various busts of famous emperors and vases in the marble from Luni.
Paintings that are included are important works such as Judith With the Head of Holofernes and Narcissus by Caravaggio and The Deposition by Raphael amongst others.
