You will have a visit of the Papal Archbasilica of St John in Lateran, which is the cathedral of the Church of Rome and is famous for its baroque and medieval masterpieces.
You will visit the Holy Stairs which, according to Roman Catholic tradition, were part of the praetorium of Pilate in Jerusalem, hence sanctified by Jesus Christ during his Passion.
You will then visit the splendid Basilica of Saint Mary Major, dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. This Basilica will astonish you with its wonderful treasures.
Then we reboard the bus and pass through the Porta di San Sebastiano to arrive at the ancient Roman Catacombs.
As you descend underground you will be amazed as you experience these ancient Christian cemetries and, believed to be, the hiding places of the early Christians.
