You will enter the massive structure of the Colosseum. Originally named the Flavian Amphitheatre, it was once used for gladiatorial contests and public spectacles. The amphitheatre, the largest ever built in the Roman Empire, was completed in 80AD under Titus and is one of the most important monuments of all times. As you wander around inside you will breath the bloody past of the arena and soak up the atmosphere created by your passionate and expert guide. You will feel like you can hear the lions roar!
You will then follow in the footsteps of Julius Caesar on the legendary Via Sacra and enter the Roman Forum. Here you will see the Arch of Constantine, the Temple of Vesta, the Arch of Titus, the Curia the Reggia and so much more.
You will visit the Palatine Hill,
home of the emperors and the site of the original settlement of Rome. From here you will have an amazing view of the Circus
Maximus the site of the ancient Chariot races.
