Get on board! Enjoy a relaxing charming itinerary as the bus leaves from Piazza San Bernardo, adorned by Moses' Fountain to arrive at the fabulous Trevi Fountain where we will stop for a visit. Known as the "Queen of the Monuments" the Trevi Fountain will make you realise the importance of water in Rome. Legend has it that if you "throw your coins in the fountain" you will ensure your return to Rome!
We will then continue to Piazza Venezia, the Capitoline Hill, past the Roman and the Imperial Forums, the Colosseum, the Palatine Hill, the Aventine Hill, the Circus Maximus and the Tiberina Island. The visit will then head up to the Gianicolum Hill, for the most amazing and beautiful views of the whole of Rome and especially of St Peter's Basilica. We will cross the Tiber River and pass by the Basilica of St. Peter and the fortress of Castel St. Angelo.
We will then head to the wonderful medieval area of Trastevere, full of life and beloved by Romans. You will have a glass of wine to cheer and will taste the traditional cuisine of Italy in a typical restaurant in the accompanied by local music.
